This year, we have carefully crafted stimulating and relevant topics that align with the most pressing concerns of our time. These topics will require your full engagement, deep research, and creative thinking. I encourage each of you to approach your committees with an open mind, a commitment to diplomacy, and a resolve to make meaningful contributions. Remember, MUN is not just about winning debates; it is about learning from one another, sharing ideas, and coming together to address the challenges that shape our world. 

I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to the organizing team, whose hard work and dedication have made SFLMUN a reality. Without their tireless efforts, this event would not be possible. I also want to thank our faculty advisors, directors, and chairs, who will guide you through the complexities of the debate and foster a learning environment built on mutual respect and cooperation.

I encourage you to make the most of this conference, to network with like-minded individuals, to challenge yourself, and, most importantly, to enjoy the experience. The journey you are about to begin will not only shape you as a diplomat, but also as an engaged and responsible global citizen.
